Tine L. Rasmussen

Her research interests include paleoceanography, paleoclimate, ecology and paleoecology, micropaleontology, abrupt climate and oceanographic changes, long time series, Arctic, sub-Arctic and subtropical areas. These fields of interests are used as a basis for better understanding of changes in methane release in the past and present.

Tine holds a PhD degree in marine science/micropaleontology from the University of Aarhus in Denmark, and has professional experience from Aarhus University (Denmark), the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ, the Netherlands), the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (USA), Lund University (Sweden) and The University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS, Spitsbergen).
