“Molo Teacher!” A film about Cultural Encounters in Teacher Education

What is it like to be a teacher on the other side of the globe? Three Norwegian and four South African students face new challenges as they exchange school practice with each other. The documentary Molo Teacher! (Hello teacher!) provides insight into how they adapt to different educational systems and cultures, and depicts their professional and personal development. Through their experiences, the film explores how cultural differences and various pedagogical methods can broaden the perspectives of student teachers and prepare them for future teaching roles.
