Researchers from UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and Leiden University published on Nature Communications the article Conserved collateral antibiotic susceptibility networks in diverse clinical strains of Escherichia coli.
Their data allow optimism for Collateral sensitivity-informed therapy and further suggest that rapid detection of resistance mechanisms is important to accurately predict collateral responses.
