PhD survey

The Department of Chemistry organises a survey among PhD fellows every second year. The survey is an important feedback mechanism to improve the PhD program at the department. Some of the topics of the survey are supervision and progress in the PhD project, teaching duties, PhD courses at the department and transferable skills.

The first PhD survey was in Spring 2016. The results of the survey played a role in shaping the new PhD school at the Department of Chemistry. In addition, a need for better information about among others teaching duties and PhD courses at the department was identified. This feedback has been instrumental in the work with the website of the PhD school.

The second PhD survey was in June 2018. The results of the survey have determined some of the priorities for the PhD school in 2018/2019, among which improvements in the organisation of teaching duties and the establishment of a presentation course for PhD fellows.

The third PhD survey was in Spring 2020.
