This August, UiT The Arctic University of Norway had the pleasure of hosting Madimabe Tebele, a lecturer from the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Military Science, Stellenbosch University. During her week-long stay, Madimabe enriched our academic community with her extensive knowledge and engaging presence.
Madimabe Tebele, who has a robust academic background with degrees in Political Studies, Public Governance, and Law from North-West University (NWU), and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Tertiary Education from the University of South Africa (UNISA), shared her insights and experiences generously.

Throughout her visit, Madimabe met with our research groups and engaged with students in discussions that spanned a variety of political science topics. Her approachable manner and depth of knowledge fostered an environment of learning and curiosity among students and faculty alike.

Madimabe’s visit to Tromsø was not only an academic exchange but also a bridge-building exercise between UiT and Stellenbosch University, enhancing the collaborative ties between our institutions. Her visit left a lasting impression, and we look forward to future collaborations that continue to enrich our academic and cultural exchanges.
