On March 21st, Arctic Seasonal Ice Zone Ecology (SIZE) members met for the first time as a group, marking the transition of SIZE from an ambitious idea to meaningful, collaborative science. With the arrival of professors, post-docs, and PhD students (representing seven countries of origin) in Tromsø, introductions began in earnest. Since this first meeting, members of SIZE have begun logging ship time and office hours as they develop research proposals and prepare for field excursions. As projects develop and exciting discoveries are made, this website will be updated; so, please check back regularly.
