The last weeks Tobias Vonnahme participated in a summer school in Bergen, Norway, organized by FILAMO, and used different programs for dynamic and 1D modelling based on laboratory experiments. The aim of the summer school is to facilitate the communication between laboratory experiments and numerical modelling.
Mixotrophic interactions between an algae that can eat other algae (Karlodinium) and a prey algae, and fecal pellet production of different copeods were investigated in the lab and implemented into models.
