The ArcticSIZE group held its annual meeting in Tromsø on June 5-6, 2018. The meeting brought together the early career scientists, professors and adjunct professors associated with the project.
Since the first ArcticSIZE meeting, a year ago, there has been a tremendous amount of activity, notably with the four PhD and two post-doctoral researchers launching their research projects. Our members have been active in the field, collectively participating in over seven Arctic field campaigns and more are to come! This meeting was a great occasion to share the development of these six projects with the whole team and fueled productive discussions on potential for collaborations and integration of each member’s research into a cohesive framework.
In addition to its presence in the field and laboratory, the group has been active in sharing their research at conferences and meeting across the globe as well as producing the first ArcticSIZE publications.
Overall this meeting was a great opportunity to update each other on progress made during the last year and consolidating our thoughts for the way forward.
Stay tuned for great things to come!
