The objective of this study is study of the architecture of the residential development of the BEAC countries (Norway, Finland, Sweden and Russia), the identification and characteristics of the main stages of its development.
This study will create basis for planning of the construction process (building of the new objects, reconstruction or restoration works of the old objects and subsequent repair work).
Process of the facility management of residential building and planning its current and major repairs should solve a wide range of tasks, which include, for example, increasing the usable area of the building, a possible increase in the number of storeys, increasing the bearing capacity and rigidity of enclosing structures, replacing facade decorative and structural elements, increasing energy efficiency. All these technological changes should be carried out with the maximum preservation of the historical appearance of the building and the surrounding architectural development.
