Our DeltaVision Elite deconvolution microscope (GE Healthcare) is an excellent alternative to confocal microscopes for many applications. It provides much higher speed with lower light exposure than confocal systems, although it suffers in 3D sectioning capability for thick samples. Long-term time lapse imaging is facilitated by its surrounding incubation chamber and IR-based focus-maintaining system.
