When: 14th – 20th of January 2015
Where: Hurtigruta, Bodø
Selected candidates will participate in a blend of technical, social and cultural events accompanied by mentors from business, politics and academia. The program starts in the city of Bodø, then continues onboard the coastal steamer and ends in Tromsø, the gateway to the Arctic. A two days stop will be made at Svolvær to explore the marine resources and potential in the Lofoten region, and to look into the local history and culture of the region.
The participants will be challenged to engage in discussions and presentations during the program.
The content of the program is linked to the Arctic Frontiers 2015 conference topic “Climate and Energy” and includes the following sessions:
- Session 1 Politics and security in the High North
- Session 2 Climate and Energy in the Arctic
- Session 3 Safety of maritime operations in the Arctic
- Session 4 Business and society in Northern Norway
