Griselda Anglada Ortiz, PhD Candidate
Griselda is a PhD candidate in the work group Pleistocene to Present: Methane, Ocean Acidification, and CO2.
Griselda is a PhD candidate at CAGE since May 2019. Her research will focus on the effects of Ocean Acidification on living planktic marine calcifiers (foraminifera, pteropods and coccolitophores), investigating their shell condition (thickness, density, shell weight) regarding the carbonate chemistry from the sampled region and comparing the results with some pre-industrial records from the sediment cores.
She holds a BSc. in Environmental Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a MSc. in Oceanography from the University of Barcelona-Politecnical University of Catalonia (Catalonia, Spain).
