Henry Patton, Researcher
Henry Patton is a researcher within The Role of Ice Ages at CAGE.
His research focus lies in utilising ice sheet models alongside geophysical datasets to gain insights into how former Eurasian/Arctic ice sheets evolved and impacted their environment.
Henry holds a PhD degree in glaciology from Aberystwyth University (UK) co-funded by the British Geological Survey. He obtained an MSc in glaciology also from Aberystwyth University, and a BSc in Physical Geography from Reading University (UK). He has worked previously at the University of Sheffield (UK) examining the long-term evolution of glacial overdeepenings beneath the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets, and gained experience from research stays at UNIS (Svalbard) and McGill University in Montreal (Canada).
