Jemma Wadham, Professor

Jemma is a Professor within The Role of Ice Ages work group at CAGE.
She is a Professor in Glaciology at CAGE/IG and a Professor of Glaciology at the University of Bristol, UK.
She interested in how glaciers and ice sheets impact global cycles of carbon and nutrients and serve as extreme habitats for microbial life.
She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cambridge and PhD from the University of Bristol and holds a Royal Society Wolfson Merit Award for her research. She has led research projects in Svalbard, the European Alps, Greenland, Antarctica, the Himalaya and Andes.
