Monica Winsborrow, Associate Professor and Team Leader

Monica is an Associate Professor and team leader for The Role of Ice Ages research group at CAGE. She also serves as Assistant Director for CAGE.
Her research focuses on the reconstruction of past ice sheets, working to understand the processes and mechanisms that control their evolution and dynamics, and examining their environmental impacts.
She holds a PhD is Physical Geography from the University of Sheffield, UK and worked in both industry and academia before joining CAGE in 2014. She became team leader and assistant director of CAGE in August 2017.
