The 25th IEEE International Symposium on Cluster, Cloud and Internet Computing will take place at UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø. The university is located close to the city center of Tromsø and can easily be reached by bus or car. To navigate around campus, we recommend using MazeMap.

Arriving in Tromsø
When arriving at Tromsø airport, you’re only a few minutes away from the city center, where most hotels are located. No matter where you are staying, the bus service in Tromsø is great and there’s always a bus to catch. You can also take a taxi, if you prefer that.
How to reach Tromsø centrum
From the airport, you can take the following buses to reach the city center:
- 42 Stakkevollan via sentrum
- 40 Tromsø museum via sentrum
- 26 Tromsdalen via sentrum
- 24 Mortensnes via Giæverbukta
If you take the bus from the airport to Giæverbukta bus stop, these additional buses go to the city center:
- 34 Fagereng via Giæverbukta
- 28 Solligården via sentrum
How to reach the venue/UiT
From the city center, you can take the following buses to reach UiT:
- 34 Skattøra via UiT – UNN
- 30 UiT – UNN via Stakkevollvegen
Get off the bus at either UiT/Planetariet or UiT. The bus stop UNN (The University Hospital of North Norway) is also an option as it is located right next to the university.
To make sure you find the right bus, we recommend that you download the Svipper app, where you can plan your travels and check the next available bus. The Svipper app can be downloaded on both Android and iOS devices.
Please note that bus tickets are included in the conference fee. You will receive a bus card on the first day of the conference, covering all travels in Tromsø during the conference period. Prior to this, you must pay for your own tickets.

Please note that only a limited number of rooms are available at reduced price for CCGrid 2025 participants (booking of these rooms are done during registration for the conference). If all rooms offered at reduced price are already booked, you must book your own accommodation for your stay. In that regard, it is important to remember that Tromsø is a touristic destination, and we therefore recommend that you book your accommodation well in advance.

Scandic Ishavshotel
This hotel won the award for Norway’s best hotel breakfast in 2023, and is located by the sea with a fantastic view. If you’re feeling hungry, you can have a nice meal in their restaurant Roast, or take a walk by the quayside and gaze over the sea toward the mainland and the famous Arctic Cathedral.
