On this page, we describe how research data must be prepared before they can be published in DataverseNO, how the deposit process works, and how you can refer to your own or others’ data.
Important note on data requiring protection: DataverseNO only accepts data that can be openly shared. If your data requires protection, certain steps or considerations may be necessary before they can be shared openly. This includes data such as personal data, health data, Indigenous data, copyrighted materials, commercially sensitive data, sensitive biodiversity data, or data with geopolitical or security concerns. If your data falls into any of these categories, please contact your local support before preparing your dataset for deposit. Additionally, you may only share data for which you hold the necessary rights and permissions.
A short version of the DataverseNO Deposit Guidelines is available in this checklist.
