Ida Opstad was awarded the prize for the best masters thesis (2015-2016 academic year) in the Faculty of Science and Technology at UiT. She was awarded a giant check for 10,000 kroner, and has promised to buy at least a beer or chocolate for her thesis supervisors, Balpreet Ahluwalia and Deanna Wolfson, as a thank you.
