Congratulations to both Sebastián Andrés Acuña Maldonado and Daniel Henry Hansen for successfully defending their Masters’ theses! Sebastian will be continuing his work developing computational nanoscopy algorithms, with a thesis title of “Multiple Signal Classification Algorithm: computational time reduction and pattern recognition applications,” as a PhD student in our lab. Daniel’s thesis, titled “Chip Based Nanoscopy: System Integration And Automation” details his work automating alignment and control systems for our chip-based nanoscopy platform; he will also continue with similar work as a staff engineer in our group.

Great job guys, and we are glad that you are sticking around!
