Postdoctoral Fellow, Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3)

Ecoinformatics, modelling of ecosystem services in marine and freshwater systems.

The Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) is seeking to fill a postdoctoral position for work to be carried out under the H2020 AQUACROSS project. AQUACROSS, in collaboration with a large consortium of European research institutions, investigates interactions between aquatic ecosystems (both marine and freshwater) and societies; an ecosystem-based management paradigm will be developed, integrating ecological function, ecosystem services and policy, with 8 case studies around Europe. The researcher will concentrate on the modelling of hydrological processes, aquatic ecosystem services and eco-social interactions, becoming a specialist team member in the ARIES (ARtificial Intelligence for Ecosystem Services) initiative, one of the most advanced global platforms for ecosystem services assessment and integrated environmental modelling in existence. The successful candidate will work with the AQUACROSS community and the large consortium of ARIES scientists led by BC3, concentrating on areas of interest for the AQUACROSS project at first. Call for applicants – Post-doctoral position at Universita della Svizzera italiana and Yale University

Applications are invited for a two-year postdoctoral position for a research project on the dynamics of online reviews. The postdoc position is hosted in the first year at the Universita della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, Switzerland (USI). The second year will be either at USI or at Yale University, School of Management, depending on the preferences of the applicant. The project will be supervised by Prof. Balazs Kovacs (USI and Yale University).

The research project is very interdisciplinary, so I accept candidates from multiple fields, including but not limited to management, psychology, economics, sociology, computer science, and statistics. Applicants should have some skills in statistics and the ability to think creatively about research design. No previous experience with online review data is required. Continue reading →

Every year in March/April, tax-liable wage earners receive a pre-entered tax return form for the previous income year. The form must be checked, if necessary corrected, and submitted by 30 April.​

There will be an opportunity to ask questions, and you can get help filling out your tax return.
