The Annual Report for 2019 is (finally) here!

It took its time, but we are happy to present to you the NordCO2 Annual Report for 2019!
After 9 months of pandemic, it is refreshing to read about a time when we were able to travel and gather. It seems we will soon be able to do this again and we are looking forward to it.

You can read the report here 🙂

P.S. Our apologies to Cuong Dat Do for the typo in page 26 😱

NordCO2 will continue until 2023!!

Time to celebrate!
The progress report for 2019 and the midterm evaluation of NordCO2 has been approved by NordForsk, and the consortium will be funded un til 2023. Congratulations to all NordCO2 members!
We are looking forward to do (and publish) more amazing CO2 science, and would like to thank NordForsk for allowing us to do so 🙂

MSCA-ITN Grant to NordCO2 researchers

MSCA-ITN Grant to NordCO2 researchers

A collaboration between Nordic CO2 researchers in NordCO2 and other leading experts in Europe has been granted by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) in Horizon 2020. The collaboration, an Innovative Training Network (ITN), will train future scientists in the art of using carbon dioxide for synthesizing essential molecules in a sustainable manner.

Congratulations to Kathrin H. Hopmann (UiT, coordinator of the new ITN), Ainara Nova (UiO), Belén Martín-Matute (SU), Troels Skrydstrup (AU), Annette Bayer (UiT) and Kim Daasbjerg (AU).

The new network, aptly named CO2PERATE, will have three industrial partners: Evonik, AstraZeneca and Haldor Topsøe, and will collaborate with outstanding European research groups in the field: Ruben Martin (ICIQ), Cristina Nevado (UZH), and Matthias Beller (LIKAT)

15 new PhD positions will be announced in the research groups soon, stay in touch!
