Project title: Homo ludens: man lærer som lenge man leker
Summary of the project:
Development of innovative learning forms through interaction of film and theater in language learning.
Målet til prosjektet «HOMO LUDENS: man lærer som lenge man leker» var å utvikle nye undervisnings- og læringsformer og eksperimentere med aktiv bruk av dokumentarfilm og teater i fremmedspråkundervisning gjennom et filmverksted og et teaterverksted. På verkstedene fikk studentene muligheten til å øve to språk – norsk og russisk, få flere tips om språkopplæring, delta i forskjellige ordleker, lage en kort russisk-norsk dokumentarfilm og en liten sketsj. I tillegg ble det arrangert 10 arrangementer for de norske og russiske studentene ved UiT (en Bli-kjent-fest med 22 studenter, mottakelser med mat og drikke og sosiale språkaktiviteter, sammenkomster, matlaging og to avslutningsfester). Studentene var også involvert i å lage undertekstene til de to filmene på norsk, russisk og engelsk med veiledning av prosjektansvarlige. Som inspirasjon til teaterverkstedet fikk studentene tilbud om tre teaterforestillinger (på RuNo Teater og Hålogaland Teater). I samarbeid med kollegene fra Barentsprosjektet ble det utarbeidet et kompendium som skal brukes i det nye emnet på UiT – RUS-2000: Mediespråk i bruk.
